Kitchen Checklists and Logs
Printable and fillable records for the routines that keep a kitchen consistent: a receiving log that checks delivery temperatures, a cleaning and sanitizing log that checks test-strip readings, a corrective-action record, cleaning by frequency, opening and closing, a daily food safety self-check, a waste log and an inventory count with extended values. Set the rows and columns you need, print the sheet or download it as a spreadsheet file, and keep it with your other records. Limits come from the FDA Food Code named on each page; your health department decides what applies to you.
Tools in this group
- Cleaning and Sanitizing Log — Type each sanitizer check (surface, method, chemical, test-strip reading, solution temperature) to see whether it is inside the Food Code chart, or print a blank log with the chart under it.
- Corrective Action Form — Pick what went wrong, enter the measured value and what you did, and get a corrective action record with the Food Code limit and the Food Code Annex wording beside it, ready to print or download as CSV.
- Food Safety Checklist — Choose daily, weekly or both; each check sits under one of the five risk factors or the good retail practices and names its Food Code section.
- Food Waste Log — Print the blank log, or type the week's waste (item, quantity, unit cost, reason) to get the total value, the share of purchases and a split by reason.
- Receiving Log — Type each delivery (supplier, item, type, temperature) to see which readings are within the Food Code receiving limit, add your accept or reject decision and corrective action, then print the log or download the CSV.
- Restaurant Cleaning Checklist — Pick the task groups you need, add your own lines and print the sheet or download it as CSV; the Food Code sanitizer limits are printed under it.
- Restaurant Inventory Template — Print the count sheet, or type your items with par, on hand and case size to see the value on hand and what to order.
- Restaurant Opening Checklist — Switch between opening and closing, tick the sections you use, add blank lines for your own tasks and print the sheet.
